A special screening event with a stage greeting for the V-Cinema sequel "No.1 Sentai Gozyuger VS Boonboomger" (showing for a limited time from March 20th) was held on March 18th at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), with main cast members including Haruhi Iuchi , who plays Bunred/Daiya Norimichi, and Mio Fuyuno , who Hoeru Tono, in attendance.
After appearing in " Boonboomger," Inouchi also appeared in the next series, "Gojuger," as a different character named Tsutsumi Natsume. Reflecting on her appearance in "Gojuger," Inouchi said, "I had just been sent to a new place (set), so I could only have innocuous conversations," to which Fuyuno added, "I was also very nervous (because it was the beginning)."
The two, who co-starred again in this project, have deepened their friendship to the point where they can talk about personal matters. Fuyuno shared an anecdote, saying, "It was good that I almost went to the ramen shop that Inouchi recommended," to which those around her exclaimed in surprise, "You didn't go (laughs)!?" Since Inouchi had also shown his "natural" side that day, when asked, "Is red a natural trait?", the two denied it together, drawing laughter from the audience.
Finally, Inouchi looked out at the audience and said, "I was really looking forward to being able to stand in front of you all like this again. A hero cannot be made alone. I was able to be a hero for a year because there were people to protect, people to witness it, and people to call me a hero, so I am very happy to have been given this opportunity again. This is the most amazing and number one production, so please be sure to imprint it on your memory!"
Fuyuno also appealed to viewers, saying, "This is a work worthy of the 50th anniversary of the Super Sentai series and the 30th anniversary of the VS series. It's really fun, so I hope you'll watch it once, twice, three times... and maybe even 50 times!"
The stage greeting was attended by Fuyuno, Hideharu Suzuki, Masakazu Kanda, Jin Matsumoto Kohaku, and Kimura Kaiki from " No.1 Sentai Gozyuger ," and Inouchi, Yuki Hayama, Miu Suzuki, and Yu Miyazawa from " Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger ."
This film features a crossover between " No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, " the Super Sentai series that aired its final episode in February, and " Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger," which aired until February of last year. It is a culmination of the 50th anniversary of the Super Sentai series and the 30th anniversary of the VS series. Announced under Toei's "V-Cinema Next" label, it will have a limited theatrical release before being released on Blu-ray (BD) and DVD on July 29th.
