The eighth episode of the popular TBS Sunday drama "Reboot," starring Ryohei Suzuki, aired on March 15th (Sundays at 9 PM). A scene in which Ichika, played by Erika Toda, pleads, "Please let me see Takumi (Hiroshi Yazaki) one last time," caused a stir on social media.

Three years ago, Natsumi (Sayaka Yamaguchi) was suspected of stealing 1 billion yen from Goroku (Yukiya Kitamura) and was ordered by Ichika to reboot. Seeing no other way to protect her family, Natsumi had Ichika reboot her. The "real" Ichika (Toda) was shot dead.
Currently, Ichika, being pursued by Goroku, hurries to Hayase Confectionery. While keeping a watchful eye on her surroundings and waiting for Natsumi's son, Takumi, to arrive, she receives a phone call from Goroku.
"You're being stubborn," Goroku said coldly, then asked what Ichika should do next. "I won't say anything. I'll die as the culprit who stole 10 billion," Ichika replied. "That's just like you, Ichika. It's a shame to lose someone as clever as you."
Amidst all this, Ichika, now a mother, pleaded with tears welling up in her eyes, "But there's just one request. Please let me see Takumi one last time. Just from a distance. Just one glance is all I ask." However, Ichika was already surrounded by Fuyuhashi and his men (played by Ren Nagase)...
On social media, comments included: "Erika Toda's expressions are just like Natsumi's," "In the final scene where Ichika talks to Goroku on the phone, she really becomes Natsumi, it's amazing! Her expressions are great, and I got particularly teary-eyed at this point," "Her face is Ichika's, but she's turned back into Natsumi, Takumi's mother... Erika Toda looks like Sayaka Yamaguchi," and "I was thrilled to see Natsumi Ichika so clearly like Sayaka Yamaguchi."
