The final episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers" (Fridays at 10 PM), starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on June 19th, revealing the truth behind an incident that occurred 31 years ago.

Fumi (Atsuko Sendo) revealed the truth about the incident that happened 31 years ago. Sadao (Hidekazu Nagae) had used Mogi (Takashi Yamanaka), nicknamed "Mocchan," to kill Sakutaro (Masato Wada) and others in order to raise money for Fumi's surgery.
However, upon hearing Mocchan's words that Sakutaro and the others did not resist or even raise a cry, Makoto (Okada) and Minoru (Someya) deduce that they were already dead. They each race against time to uncover the truth and find the real culprit.
Eventually, because only his parents were eating yakisoba with vinegar, Minoru suspects poisoning and flies to Germany for a more detailed examination, where he discovers that the poisonous substance digitalis had been mixed in. Meanwhile, Makoto investigates the identity of "Fisherman Koji," who was murdered by Sakutaro after a deal for illegally manufactured guns fell through...
Minoru and Makoto summoned the real culprit. And who should show up but Haruko Ashikaga, also known as "Haru-chan" (played by Haruka Igawa)... The real name of "Fisherman Koji" was Koji Ashikaga. He was Haru-chan's father.
Haruko learned about the illegal manufacture of guns from a notebook she received as her father's heirloom, and later, upon learning that her father was killed because of Sakutaro, she vowed revenge and began monitoring Sakutaro and his group's actions. She also learned about the existence of digitalis from a picture book she read at the recommendation of Sayoko Hatano (Makiko Watanabe), and decided to carry out a poisoning.
After that, the closer she became to Makoto and Minoru, who adored her, the more tormented she felt by guilt. She left them once, but then went to their meeting place, thinking, "I think I wanted to be judged by them..."
The tragic turn of events led to an outpouring of shocked comments from viewers on social media, such as "This is too painful" and "It's heartbreaking about Haruko and her siblings."
