A new promotional video for " Chainsaw Man: Assassin Arc," the latest installment in the "Chainsaw Man " anime series based on Tatsuki Fujimoto 's popular manga, has been released on YouTube. The video depicts assassins from around the world targeting Denji and introduces new characters. "Assassin Arc" is a sequel to the theatrical film " Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc."
It was also announced that a smartphone game project for "Chainsaw Man" has begun. The song "ALL THE LYNCH!! ALL THE MINCE!!" by the band "Maximum the Hormone" will be used as the opening theme. An opening movie produced by MAPPA, set to the song, has also been released.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action series depicting the adventures of Denji, a boy who harbors a devil within him, as he works as a devil hunter. Part 1 was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from December 2018 to December 2020. Part 2 began serialization in July 2022 on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" and concluded on March 25th. The cumulative circulation of the comic books exceeds 36 million copies.
The TV anime aired from October to December 2022. The theatrical anime film "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" was released on September 19, 2025, and was a huge hit, grossing 10.7 billion yen and attracting over 7.06 million viewers.
