It has been announced that Shosetsuka ni Naro will be performing the opening theme (OP) "Power of Love" for the second season of "Ascendance of a Bookworm: The Lord's Adopted Daughter," a new TV anime series based on the popular light novel "Ascendance of a Bookworm: I'll Do Anything to Become a Librarian," which is popular on the novel submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou." A special video, "Fantasy Edition," has been released on YouTube, and the song has been unveiled. The second season will begin airing on July 11th.

'Power of Love' is a song that depicts the moment when feelings for someone important turn into strength. I sang it with all my heart so as to be close to the worldview of the work and the strong feelings of the characters. I would be happy if you could enjoy 'Power of Love' along with the anime."
The series is a light novel written by Miya Katsuki and illustrated by Yu Shiina. It tells the story of Urano Motosu, a girl living in modern Japan who dies on the very day she gets her dream job at a library. She then regains consciousness as Myne, a young girl in another world ruled by magical nobles, and struggles to obtain books. The series has sold over 13 million copies. The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2019, the second season from April to June 2020, and the third season from April to June 2022.
"Ascendance of a Bookworm: The Lord's Adopted Daughter" follows Myne as she chooses to live as Rosemaine, the lord's adopted daughter, in order to protect her family and friends in the lower town. It is produced by WIT STUDIO, known for works such as "SPY×FAMILY" and "Attack on Titan Season 3." The voice cast includes Yuka Iguchi as Rosemaine and Show Hayami as Ferdinand. It is currently airing every Saturday at 5:30 PM on the Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV national network. The first season started in April.
