Model Yasuko Saito, who has been the talk of the town as a "miraculous nine-head-tall beauty," will appear in the final episode (airing March 29th) of the TBS Sunday drama "Reboot" (Sundays at 9pm), starring Ryohei Suzuki. She will play Akane Shimojo, a detective in the First Investigation Division who is in charge of staking out Hayase Confectionery, and this will be Saito's first appearance in a prime-time drama.
It has also been revealed that Riku Onishi and announcer Takahiro Inoue will be appearing in the show. Onishi will play a "mysterious young man," while Inoue will play an announcer who works as a reporter on a daytime news program.
Ahead of the final episode, it has been decided that the series will be streamed worldwide on Netflix. All episodes will be available in Japan from March 30th, the day after the final episode airs, and will be available worldwide from June 14th.
Furthermore, there are plans for even more surprises in the final episode.
The drama is an original work that popular screenwriter Tsutomu Kuroiwa spent three years developing. It's a suspense story about Hayase Riku, a kind-hearted pastry chef falsely accused of murdering his wife, who abandons his beloved family and past to become a corrupt police detective, Gido Ayumu, in order to prove his innocence and find the real killer.
