The official Twitter account (@TBS_VIVANT) for the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT," starring actor Masato Sakai, which will begin airing on July 26th at 9 PM, has released a character visual of Mamoru Nozaki, played by Hiroshi Abe.
Nozaki is a director in the 4th Foreign Affairs Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Public Security Department. In the previous series, he worked alongside Yusuke Nogi (Masato Sakai), and was both a good rival and an ally. On the other hand, his unfathomable nature, such as the fact that Jameen, the "miracle girl" who is said to be able to intuitively discern people's good and evil, doesn't warm up to him, has become a topic of discussion.
The released image of Nozaki shows her from behind, with her head bowed, and a slight smile on her face. What is she looking at...?
On social media, there were many comments praising him, such as "He's so cool!!", but there were also comments like, "Isn't Nozaki-san a bit suspicious? Is he just a public security officer?" and "I hope Jameen will warm up to him this time."
This film opens immediately after the last scene of the previous film. Just as Nogi returns from a series of missions involving the international terrorist organization "Tent," he sees a red steamed bun placed in a shrine.
It was a signal that an emergency mobilization of the other unit had been ordered. What exactly was happening behind the scenes on the day Yusuke fired a bullet at Nogorn Beki, his father and the leader of the tent, and on the day he reunited with Kaoru (Fumi Nikaido) and Jameen and embraced them tightly? The truth will be revealed in the first episode of the sequel.
