It has been announced that "GROTESQQQUE," an original theatrical anime film produced by director Atsushi Nishigori, known for the anime "DARLING in the FRANXX," and CloverWorks, will be released on November 6th. The film is a "full-throttle" entertainment consisting of three works with different worldviews: "Erians," "Yoroshiku★Shoujo," and "Nocturne ~Kono Grotesque na Yoru ni~." A trailer and key visual have been released.
It was also announced that the multiverse project "METALVERSE" will be in charge of the opening theme (OP) "Shoot Shoot Shoot". METALVERSE commented, "The opening theme 'Shoot Shoot Shoot' connects to each of the works, and the wonderful visuals and music overlap in each scene, so after watching all three works, it felt like we had watched one story, and it made us want to watch it again and again. We would be happy if everyone enjoys our music along with the movie."
"GROTESQQQUE" consists of three works with different settings and locations: "Erians," in which an alien girl teams up with a civil servant working at the space agency to search for "friends"; "Yoroshiku★Shoujo," which depicts a frenzied battle royale among young "gal P" girls; and "Nocturne ~On This Grotesque Night~," in which a pure-blooded vampire and three girls who survived by being bitten by her travel through a desolate world in a van.
