The 26th episode of the NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）", starring actor Taiga Nakano (NHK General, Sundays at 8pm and other times), titled "Make Nobunaga Laugh!", will air on July 5th. "BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, known for his work on "Hanzawa Naoki" (TBS) and the Asadora drama series "Ochoyan." The music is composed by Hideaki Kimura, and the narration is provided by actress Sakura Ando.
In episode 26, Nobunaga (Shun Oguri) breaks his promise to Chosokabe Motochika (Hiroyuki Isobe) and effortlessly seizes control of Shikoku.
Motochika is furious, and Mitsuhide (played by Jun Kaname), who tried to mediate, finds himself in a difficult position. Meanwhile, Nobunaga suspects his nephew Nobusumi (played by Atsushi Ogata) of colluding with the Chosokabe clan and plotting a rebellion, and orders him to stay under house arrest. After hearing the whole story from Mitsuhide, Koichiro and Hideyoshi (played by Sosuke Ikematsu) sense Nobunaga's distress. The entire Hashiba family devises a plan and invites Nobunaga and Ichi (played by Aoi Miyazaki) to Nagahama Castle...
