The ninth episode of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series, titled "Don't jump to conclusions!", will air on ABC TV and TV Asahi on March 29th at 8:30 AM.
The popular actor Ieiri Shiruku, who is still a high school student, is coming to Makoto Mirai Academy, causing excitement among Anna and her friends. It's a TV program where Shiruku will participate in the drama club's play to liven up the freshman welcome party. Shiruku visits the drama club and meets the members. With Anna and Mikuru watching, Shiruku notices that their classmate Asama Rie looks nervous, so he performs the "Shiruku Exercise," which he often does to relieve his own tension, and helps Rie relax. During a break, Anna and Mikuru come to the waiting room to get autographs and confide in him that they "aren't getting any detective requests," to which he encourages them by saying, "Don't jump to conclusions."
As the play's performance date approaches, and Anna and Mikuru help with the preparations, Pochitan reacts. In the clubroom, a precious dress that had been passed down through generations as a costume in the drama club and was intended for use in the play has gone missing. With Anna and Mikuru saying, "Leave the dress search to us," Shiruku also offers to help, saying, "Let me help."
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Aruru Mori will appear. The mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair, whose true identity is unknown, will also make an appearance.
