The 23rd episode of "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime series "Precure", titled "Claire, Deduction, and Ice Cream", will air on ABC TV and TV Asahi on July 5th at 8:30 AM.
Anna and Mikuru try to deduce the identity of Cure Eclair using a photograph of a blue butterfly as a clue, but they are having trouble finding the answer. While they are spending time at the Cure Detective Agency with Pochitan and Jet-senpai, Claire from Patisserie Tutu comes to deliver a cake. Seeing the case files the two are investigating, Claire gives them a hint, saying, "Scents are strongly linked to memories," and then leaves the office.
Meanwhile, Usonoir, based on a prophecy in the Book of Mirage that "the Makoto Jewel resides in a record that smells of youth," orders Ruruka to steal it. The next day, following the prophecy in the Book of Mirage, Ruruka goes to Patisserie Tutu, where the manager is away on a business trip. Ruruka hands a予告状 (notice of intent to steal) to Crea, who brings her the ice cream she ordered.
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. A story of new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure transcends time.
Hikari Chiga will appear as Cure Answer/Anna Akechi, Kaede Hondo as Cure Mystic/Mikuru Kobayashi, and Nao Toyama as Cure Arcana Shadow/Ruruka Mori. It has also been announced that the mysterious Pretty Cure Cure Eclair, whose true identity is unknown, will make an appearance.
