The design for the storage box of the special limited edition Blu-ray disc box set of "GUNDAM REQUIEM FOR VENGEANCE," part of the popular anime "Gundam" series, has been revealed. Mechanical supervisor Kimitoshi Yamane drew the "White Devil" Gundam EX for the design.
The special limited edition Blu-ray disc box includes a bonus disc featuring 3D model materials of the Mobile Suits (MS), and behind-the-scenes making-of footage focusing on interviews with the main cast and music staff. In addition to a special booklet, it comes with an original soundtrack CD by Wilbert Roger II. It will be released on August 26th.
"Requiem for Revenge" is an original 3D anime focusing on the European front of the One Year War from the first series, "Mobile Suit Gundam," and was produced as "Gundam for the world." Eleven months after the start of the One Year War, one of the bases under Zeon occupation in Eastern Europe is captured by the Earth Federation Forces, and a mixed battalion including Ilya Solari and the Red Wolf team, who have just descended from space, is sent to recapture it...that's the story.
Produced by Bandai Namco Filmworks and SAFEHOUSE. It consists of 6 episodes and began streaming exclusively worldwide on Netflix in October 2024.
