New stills from the first episode of "The Cheated Husband with 3 Months to Live," which will start airing on April 24th in TV Asahi's Friday night drama slot (Fridays at 11:15 PM, except in some regions), have been released. The images show the husband, Aoi Kosaka (Jin Shirasu), whose happy days living with his beloved family have crumbled after being cheated on, and his wife, Mizuki (Hinako Sakurai), a free-spirited cheating wife.
The drama stars Shirasu and is an adaptation of the vertical-scrolling manga by Webtoon studio "SORAJIMA," which has surpassed 100 million views in Japan. It is a revenge love suspense story in which Aoi, who has been diagnosed with a malignant tumor and given a limited time to live, discovers his wife Mizuki's betrayal and goes on a quest for revenge to protect the future of his beloved son.
The cast also includes Kohei Shoji as Kazuki Iwasaki, a junior colleague of Aoi's who admires her; Yua Yua Shinkawa as Mari Fujino, Aoi's colleague with a painful past; and Mitsuomi Takahashi as Kenji Sunayama, Mizuki's lover who plots to take all of Aoi's inheritance.
