The first episode of the TBS Friday drama "Takusari Brothers," starring actor Masaki Okada and also featuring Shota Sometani, aired on April 17th (Fridays at 10 PM). A statement made by Shiori Miyato, a detective at the Aoi Police Station played by Ayami Nakajo, resonated with viewers.

The drama follows Shin Tagasari (Masaki Okada), a detective at the Qingwei Police Station, and his younger brother Minoru Tagasari (Sometani), a medical examiner working in the Prefectural Police's First Investigation Division, as they investigate heinous crimes that occur daily and pursue the real culprit in a case of their parents' murder that expired just two days before the statute of limitations was abolished. This is the latest work from producer Junko Arai, who has worked on hit crime suspense works such as the film "Last Mile" and the dramas "Unnatural," "MIU404," and "Saiai."
Makoto and his partner Shiori ended up driving Minoru, who had come to the station for an autopsy, to the prefectural police station.
Shiori was driving, and Makoto, sitting in the passenger seat, was playing a game on his smartphone and muttered, "I'll be late tonight." Minoru immediately responded, "Do you want dinner?" Makoto replied, "Yeah, you go ahead and eat." Then Minoru suggested, "Should I quickly make some beef bowl?" Makoto reacted to the mention of "beef bowl," but while staring at the game screen showing a cow character, he declined, "I think I'll eat out today."
Shiori had been listening to their conversation. After seeing Minoru off at the prefectural police headquarters, she was alone with Makoto and commented, "You two seem more like a married couple than brothers."
On social media, comments included: "'They seem more like a married couple than brothers,' Ayami Nakajo said what all the viewers were thinking," "I'm jealous that Ayami Nakajo gets to hear the conversations between the Tagasari brothers," and "I wish I could be in Ayami Nakajo's position and have a job where I can listen to the Tagasari brothers' everyday conversations and secretly grin to myself."
Other comments included: "When Masaki Okada and Ayami Nakajo are standing next to each other, they are so beautiful it feels like the screen might crack," "The screen with Ayami Nakajo and Masaki Okada is overwhelmingly beautiful," and "If Masaki Okada and Ayami Nakajo came to my house, before I could even think 'Is this the police!?', I'd probably think 'Who are these incredibly handsome and beautiful people!?'"
