Season 1 of the NHK drama "Shōjiki Fudōsan" (Shijiki Fudosan ), starring Tomohisa Yamashita, which will have a film adaptation released on May 15th, will be rebroadcast in its entirety on NHK General TV late at night from the 10th to the 12th.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name, with an original story by Takeshi Natsuhara, a script by Mitsuhiro Mizuno, and illustrations by Akira Otani. It depicts the struggles of Nagase Zaichi (Yamashita), a smooth-talking, top-selling real estate salesman who, one day, becomes unable to lie at all due to a curse on the land, and his junior colleague Tsukishita Sakura ( Haruka Fukuhara), who is "customer first" by nature, as they fight against the harsh real estate industry using honesty and integrity as their weapons.
Season 1 aired in 2022, and Season 2 in 2024. In addition, a special drama (2024) and a spin-off drama (2025) were also produced.
The marathon rebroadcast will air episodes 1-4 from 12:32 AM on April 10th, episodes 5-8 from 12:42 AM on April 11th, and episode 9 and the final episode from 1:50 AM on April 12th.
