NHK's Asadora drama series "Kaze,Kaoru " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Ai Mikami and Juri Kosaka , will be looking back at its 14th week, "Lies and Truth" (June 29th - July 3rd), on July 4th.
" Kaze,Kaoru" is the 114th morning Asadora. Based on the story of two trained nurses, Chika Ozeki and Masa Suzuki, who graduated from the same nursing school, the drama depicts how the two grow through their struggles and clashes with each other in how to interact with patients and doctors, and eventually become the "ultimate buddy" team. Mikami plays the main character, Rin Ichinose, and Uesaka plays the other main character, Naomi Oya.
In week 14, Tsuya (Ayaka Higashino) leaves the hospital, and Rin (Mikami) becomes even more dedicated to her work. Then one day, trainee Hide (Akana Ikeda) suddenly quits the nursing department.
As a result of this incident, Rin is removed from her position as head nurse in the surgical department and, as a regular nurse, is assigned to a patient named Yamamoto (played by Daisuke Honda) who often tells lies.
Eventually, Yamamoto is discharged from the hospital after undergoing cancer surgery, but three months later, he is readmitted due to stomach pain. Yamamoto has promised his wife, Tei (played by Ise Kayo), that they will eat beef hot pot together on the day of the fireworks festival. However, his condition is not improving...
On the day of the fireworks festival, Rin was told by Yamamoto that he wanted to go home... and that's how the story unfolded.
