The official Twitter account (@TBS_VIVANT) for the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT," starring actor Masato Sakai, which will begin airing on July 26th at 9 PM, has released a character visual of Kotaro Shinjo, played by Ryo Ryusei.
Shinjo of the Public Security Bureau had become a topic of conversation after failing to tail monitors Yamamoto (Takaya Sakoda) and Nogi (Masakazu Sakai). In the final episode of the previous series, he helped Beki (Koji Yakusho), Batraka (Yasufumi Hayashi), and Piyo (Mitsuo Yoshihara) escape, and it was revealed that he was actually a monitor for a tent operating in Japan.
The released visual shows a dark background, with a dirty face and suit, and a still image of him talking on the phone.
Comments on social media include "I thought he wouldn't appear again...", "I've been waiting for this!", "I can't wait for him to reappear!", and "He's ominous and super cool."
This film opens immediately after the last scene of the previous film. Just as Nogi returns from a series of missions involving the international terrorist organization "Tent," he sees a red steamed bun placed in a shrine.
It was a signal that an emergency mobilization of the other unit had been ordered. What exactly was happening behind the scenes on the day Yusuke fired a bullet at Nogorn Beki, his father and the leader of the tent, and on the day he reunited with Kaoru (Fumi Nikaido) and Jameen and embraced them tightly? The truth will be revealed in the first episode of the sequel.
