"It's already too late!?" Yumiko Udo's first serious acting role becomes a hot topic, with people saying "She's a good actress."

The first episode of the Tuesday drama "Toki Sude ni Osushi!?" (TBS, Tuesdays at 10 PM), starring actress Hiromi Nagasaku, aired on April 7th. Yuko Udo, who is trying her hand at serious acting for the first time in this series, has been attracting attention on social media with comments such as "I was surprised at how good she is" and "Her acting is so natural."

The drama tells the story of Minato Machiyama (played by Nagasaku), who, having finished raising her children, is bewildered by the "time to herself" that she finally has again at the age of 50, but begins her second life and jumps into a "sushi academy" where she can become a sushi chef in three months.

Udo played Izumi Isoda, Minato's high school classmate and best friend. While she has experience appearing in video productions as a news Caster and narrator, this was her first time doing serious acting and appearing in a television drama series.

"I have something important to tell you," Izumi called Minato to a snack bar. Izumi, who had been drinking, was in high spirits and suggested that they attend sushi academy together. When asked why, Izumi, in a childlike voice, revealed the name of her favorite American Hollywood actor, "Timothée Chalamet." "Timothée, he likes sushi. He said so in an interview," she said, her face beaming with girlish charm.

Ranko (played by Nekozawa Tsubaki), the owner of the snack bar, spoke on behalf of Izumi's "plan," saying that she thought that if they opened a shop in Hollywood, they might be able to interact with Timothy. Izumi immediately exclaimed, "Exactly!"

"Is that what you meant by 'important'?" Minato asked, exasperated, to which Izumi replied with a big smile, "Yes!"
