The TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT," starring actor Masato Sakai, will begin its sequel on July 26th. Of the 10 episodes of the first season, which have been scheduled for an encore broadcast, episode 7 will air on TBS (Kanto local) on July 3rd at 2:45 AM.
In episode 7, Nogi Yusuke (played by Sakai) and his team, with the help of Blue Walker Ota (played by Iinuma Ai), successfully obtain some important information from the tent's server.
Meanwhile, Nogi, Kurosu (Tori Matsuzaka), and six other members of the "Special Unit" gather under the command of Sakurai (Midori Kimura). Their objective is to prevent the attack from happening in Japan, the final target of the Tent. Nogi then reveals to the Special Unit members that the Tent's leader, Beki (Koji Yakusho), is his father and a former public security police officer.
Nogi and his special unit are slowly approaching the tent, while Nozaki (Hiroshi Abe) and the Public Security Bureau, in alliance with Genghis (Barslkhagva Batbold), are keeping a close eye on Nogi. Which side will uncover the truth about the tent and protect Japan...?
Meanwhile, the sequel begins immediately after the last scene of the previous film. Just as Nogi returns from a series of missions involving the international terrorist organization "Tent," he sees a red bun placed in a shrine.
It was a signal announcing an emergency summons for a separate unit. What exactly was happening behind the scenes on that day when Nogi fired a bullet at his father, Nogorn Beki (played by Koji Yakusho), who was also the leader of the tent, and when he reunited with Kaoru (played by Fumi Nikaido) and Jameen and embraced them?
The truth will be revealed in the first episode of the sequel.
