The official Twitter account (@TBS_VIVANT) for the popular TBS Sunday drama "VIVANT," starring actor Masato Sakai, which will begin airing on July 26th at 9 PM, has released a character visual of Kaoru Yuzuki, played by Fumi Nikaido.
In the previous series, Kaoru, a doctor at the World Health Organization (WHI), unexpectedly found herself working alongside Nogi (played by Sakai), and they developed feelings for each other. The official website describes her as "Nogi's only source of comfort."
The released visual shows Kaoru, wearing a scarf, gazing into the distance against a backdrop of a desolate desert.
Comments on social media include "Kaoru looks so exotic," "I wonder if she'll be taken in by the enemy organization in season 2...?", and "Her scarf looks Middle Eastern."
This film opens immediately after the last scene of the previous film. Just as Nogi returns from a series of missions involving the international terrorist organization "Tent," he sees a red steamed bun placed in a shrine.
It was a signal that an emergency mobilization of the other unit had been ordered. What exactly was happening behind the scenes on the day Yusuke fired a bullet at Nogorn Beki, his father and the leader of the tent, and on the day he reunited with Kaoru (Fumi Nikaido) and Jameen and embraced them tightly? The truth will be revealed in the first episode of the sequel.
