NHK's popular variety show "Bura Tamori" (NHK General), in which entertainer Tamori visits various towns, will air an episode titled "Imperial Palace and Edo Castle Main Keep Ruins ▼ Unveiling the Secret of the Peace and Tranquility Built by the Tokugawa Shogunate!" on April 4th at 7:30 p.m. The program finally heads to the Imperial Palace! Tamori walks along the path that still holds memories of Edo Castle, feeling like a feudal lord. His destination is the former main keep of Edo Castle, where he will uncover the secret of the "peace and tranquility" built by the Tokugawa Shogunate.
The starting point is the former main gate of Edo Castle, the Otemon Gate. Along the short 500-meter path leading to the heart of the castle, there are secrets that supported the Tokugawa shogunate's more than 260 years of peace... Furthermore, clues can be found in the vast grassy area that is now the site of the Edo Castle Honmaru Palace and the castle tower base. Unraveling the secrets of the "peace throughout the land" built by the Tokugawa shogunate from the remnants of Edo Castle left at the Imperial Palace.
Tamori's travel partner will be NHK Hiroshima announcer Mana Sato, and singer-songwriter Aimyon will provide the narration.
