The "PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED 1/60 ν Gundam" Gunpla (Bandai Spirits), based on the ν Gundam from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack," will be sold via lottery on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." This popular item was released to the general public in January for 66,000 yen.
The second release in the "PG UNLEASHED" series, the "pinnacle brand" of Gunpla, faithfully reproduces the internal structure of the ν Gundam to the utmost degree. In addition to large fin funnels, a beam rifle with built-in sliding and deployment gimmicks, and a shield, it comes with two types of beam sabers and a New Hyper Bazooka. The New Hyper Bazooka can be fitted with a support arm for the New Hyper Bazooka, based on an original interpretation.
The truss sections of the frame feature a metallic texture achieved through metallic molding. The frame is molded in multiple colors, including metallic, and multi-layered plastic stickers are used for areas that resemble light-emitting parts. The nozzles of the main thrusters and the muzzles of the head vulcans are made of metal.
The Psycho-Frame located in the cockpit block has been further processed to represent the Psycho-Frame's luminescence. A cover sticker is also included to recreate the opening scene of the anime. By attaching the support parts to the dedicated stand's pillar, the ν Gundam equipped with Fin Funnels can be displayed.
The lottery will be open on Premium Bandai until 3 PM on April 8th. The results will be announced on April 10th, and the items are scheduled to be shipped in May.
