The third season of the TV anime " Mushoku Tensei, " based on the popular light novel that originated on the Shosetsuka ni Naro submission site "Shosetsuka ni Narou," titled "Mushoku Tensei III: Mushoku Tensei III," will be broadcast and streamed in advance on TOKYO MX, ABEMA, and d Anime Store starting at 8 PM on July 4th.
The first episode will air back-to-back episodes 1 and 2 of the "Ellis's Training Arc," titled "Burn, Mad Dog" and "Roar, Mad Dog." BS11, Sun TV, and KBS Kyoto will air these episodes on July 5th, with subsequent episodes airing every Sunday from July 12th.
In the third season, "Mad Dog" Ellis, who did not appear in the second season, returns. During their adventure, Ellis, realizing her own immaturity after failing to protect Rudeus from the Dragon God Olsted, leaves Rudeus's side. All of this was to gain the strength worthy of being by Rudeus's side, and to slay Olsted. Arriving at the Holy Land of Swords with Ghislaine, Ellis trains under the Sword God Gal Farion. There, she also finds Nina, a young girl training to become a sword saint. Despite clashing with those around her, Ellis swings her sword relentlessly, driven by a murderous intent and impatience, determined to become stronger.
"Mushoku Tensei" is a light novel by Rifujin na Magote, which began serialization on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" in 2012. The story follows a 34-year-old unemployed man who dies but is reborn in a fantasy world of swords and magic, where he uses his intelligence and regrets from his previous life to start a new life. It is a popular work considered a pioneer of "Narou-kei" light novels, and has been published in book form by MF Books (KADOKAWA), with a manga adaptation also being produced. The series has sold over 18 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2021 for the first cour and from October to December of the same year, and the high-quality animation produced by Studio Bind, an animation production company established specifically for the series, also became a topic of discussion. The first cour of the second season aired from July to September 2023, and the second cour aired from April to June 2024.
