Fuji TV's popular variety show "Chidori no Kuse Sugo!" will air on July 4th in the "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturdays at 9 PM). This marks the show's return after approximately 1 year and 4 months, since its last broadcast in March 2025. The comedy duo "Chidori" will serve as the MCs.
"Chidori no Kuse Sugo!" was a variety show in which popular comedians performed "unique and quirky" material that was different from their usual routines, and it aired from May 2020 to March 2025.
This time, the show will feature a total of over 50 people. The lineup includes regulars who have appeared on the show since its early days, such as EIKO (Eiko Kano), and comedy duos "Jarujaru," "Slim Club," and "Rainbow," as well as first-time appearances by "Takuro," the winner of the "M-1 Grand Prix 2025," and Kajiwara Kana, the eldest daughter of Kajiwara Yuta (Kajisac) of "King Kong," who is also an actress and model.
The show's signature collaboration units will also make an appearance. In addition to familiar pairings such as Ryuji Akiyama and Tomochika from "Robert," and Johnny Iwai from "Trendy Angel" and "Iwaigawa," Kajiwara will take to the stage with "Cotton" to perform a special skit.
Also, as "witness" guests, Non and Mai Fukagawa from Fuji TV's new Wednesday 10pm drama "Tokyo middle 30" (starting July 22nd / Wednesdays at 10pm), and Hiroka Nagahama, a popular influencer with over 1.5 million followers across social media, will each be making their first appearance on "Kusesugo!". What kind of "quirky and amazing jokes" will resonate most with Non, who loves comedy, and Fukagawa, who was a big fan of "Kusesugo!" when it was a regular show?
Also appearing as guests are Keigo Sato from "JO1," who has previously collaborated with "Kusesugo Comedians," and Hiromasa Yashiki from "New York," who has even performed his own act as a "Kusesugo Comedian." The guests will share surprising childhood anecdotes and reveal unexpected special talents.
After the recording, Non reflected, "When I listened to EIKO (Eiko Kano)'s song, I laughed so hard I don't know how many times in my life... or rather, I was laughing and crying at the same time (laughs)." She named the comedy duo "Kagaya" as a comedian she would like to collaborate with, saying, "The skit they performed this time was very realistic and felt like 'youth!', so I thought I would like to enter that emotional world myself."
Fukagawa also commented, "It's a show I love, so I was very happy to be able to see new material in the studio this time. There are sequels to the series, and it was quite moving to see how much Haruka Omura and Chaemi Hayashida, who were children when they first appeared, have grown up."
