It has been announced that "Chou Jun! Choujou Senpai," a TV anime based on the manga by Shun Numa that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be broadcast every Tuesday at 11 PM starting in October on the Kansai TV/Fuji TV anime block "Ka-Ani-Bal!!".
Character design images have been released for the main character, the psychic police officer Jun Chojo, and his partner, the rookie police officer Naoki Ippongi, who is skilled in judo.
"Choujun! Choujou-senpai" is a "supernatural police comedy" set in the quirky town of Kabukicho, featuring the ultimate buddy duo of Choujou Jun, a police officer with supernatural powers, and Ippongi Nao, a rookie police officer. It was serialized in the magazine from February 2024 to June 2025. It has gained popularity, including being selected as the 3rd place winner in the comics category of the Next Manga Award 2025.
The anime will be directed by Junichi Yamamoto and produced by Arvo Animation.
