It has been announced that the TV anime "You've Been Murdered Again, Detective-sama," based on a mystery novel written by Tenioha, a Vocaloid producer and novelist, with illustrations by Riichu, will begin airing on TBS and other channels from 1:58 AM on April 2nd. It was also announced that musician Naohiro Hayashi's solo project, "Multidimensional Control Mechanism Yodaka," will be in charge of the opening theme (OP), "Stardust Eureka."
Hayashi commented, "The protagonist literally crosses the line between life and death in order to uncover the truth. I wanted to write a song that would be like a star watching over this strange tale from the sky. But what I ended up with was a red, eerie searchlight! Is it shining on the culprit? The protagonist? Or is it 'you'? Shhh, be quiet. The reveal is about to begin..."
The main PV and main visual have been released, offering a glimpse into the relationship between high school detective Sakuya Oizuki and his assistant Lilithea, as well as the world of the story.
The series is an unconventional mystery that depicts the story of Sakuya Oizuki, a high school detective with the unique ability to "come back to life even after being killed," as he uses his special ability to tackle various difficult cases. The anime is directed by Takashi Naoya, known for works such as "The Wedding Ring Story" and "My Childhood Friend Will Never Lose in a Romantic Comedy," and produced by Liden Films. Rikuya Yasuda will voice the protagonist Sakuya Oizuki, and Shion Wakayama will voice Lilithea, Sakuya's assistant.
