The 89th episode of the NHK morning drama "Bakeke" (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and other times), starring Takaishi Akari, was broadcast on February 5th, and viewers were drawn to Nishikori's (Yoshizawa Ryo) comments.
One day, after the Toki (Takaishi) Rashamen scandal and Governor Eto (Sano Shiro) dine-and-dash scandal had been resolved, Nishikori stood at the podium and announced to his students, "This winter, I will become the principal of Matsue Junior High School."
As the classroom became noisy, Nishikori explained that Shimane was attracting attention as an educational prefecture, saying, "Those of you who are taught by Professor Heaven (Tommy Bastow) are expected to receive a highly advanced education. And of course, there is also Professor Shoda (Masago Hama), who graduated from the Imperial University, and myself."
He then announces, "When I become principal, I would like to pave the way for talented students to enter the Imperial University," which excites Heaven's students Masaki (Hidaka Yukito) and Kotani (Shimokawa Kyohei), but Nishikori's younger brother, Takeru (Sugita Rairin), has a complicated look on his face.
Although Nishikori is a brilliant student known as "Daibanseki," he did not actually graduate from the Imperial University and does not have a teaching license. On social media, people were saying things like, "Is this a hint that his academic falsification will be exposed?", "'Graduated from the Imperial University' only refers to 'Professor Shoda' and not to 'me'. He's not lying," "I'd hate it if articles were to report on Nishikori's academic falsification next...," "I'm concerned about the clouded look on his younger brother's face," "I don't want Nishikori to have to go through hardship, it's disturbing," and "I can't help but think it's a hint..."
