Friday Road Show (Nippon TV, Friday 9pm) on February 6th will air the adventure fantasy "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (2005, USA), starring Johnny Depp and directed by Tim Burton.
Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp, Mamoru Miyano), who captivates people all over the world with his delicious sweets, has issued a statement saying, "The Wonka factory is finally open to the public! Five lucky children will be allowed to tour the factory." Five children who win a "golden ticket" inside a Wonka chocolate candy and their guardians will be given a special invitation to the factory.
One of the five chosen, Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore, Futo Tomizawa), grew up in a family so poor that it was on the verge of collapse. He lived with his unemployed father (Noah Taylor, Hiroshi Ikenaka), his mother (Helena Bonham Carter, Misa Watanabe), and four bedridden elderly people, for a total of seven people. Charlie could only afford one chocolate a year, but he was lucky enough to get a golden ticket.
Wonka's factory continues to produce the world's best chocolates, even though no one has ever entered or left it for 15 years. What is the dreamlike world that Charlie and the other five children encounter in this mysterious factory?
