It has been announced that the fourth season of the TV anime "BLEACH: Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Blood War Arc -Kashintan-," will begin airing on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on July 25th at 11 PM. The main visual has been released, depicting a desolate landscape with Zangetsu and others impaled on it, and the back view of Ichigo Kurosaki kneeling with his hand on Zangetsu. The figure of Yhwach, who possesses omniscient and omnipotent power, can also be seen, creating a visual that foreshadows the fierce battle to the death in the final season.
It was also announced that jo0ji will be in charge of the opening theme "I-BULL" and 9Lana will be in charge of the ending theme "Rasen," and the original author, Kubo, provided a comment.
Kubo commented, "I personally listened to all the demos before deciding on the theme songs for the TV anime ' Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War.' I wanted to have as many new artists as possible handle the songs throughout the series. I also chose them with the hope that people would discover the artists through 'Thousand-Year Blood War Arc' and become fans of them."
Regarding the opening theme, he explained, "For the final season, we received more song suggestions than ever before. Since it was the final season, I wanted a song with impact. I've always liked jo0ji's music, and there was a part in the demo that bothered me a little, so I asked if it was possible to change that to make it better. jo0ji replied, 'Absolutely,' so I made a few requests like, 'I like this part,' and 'I like this part,' and he came back with something that was like a completely different song. It was really good, and we decided on it right away. I liked the powerful impact of the song, and as we talked more, it kept getting better and better, so each time I felt more and more that 'this is the song for me.'"
Regarding the ending theme, he said, "Among all the proposals we received during the initial demo stage, this one stood out as being of exceptionally high quality, so we decided at that stage that we would definitely use this song for either the opening or ending. The melody is that good, the lyrics are good, the arrangement is good, and the song itself is of extremely high quality. It could be used for either, but I was hoping that a song of this quality could be used for the ending. The intro is really good, and I thought it would be great if it could smoothly come in at the end of the story."
To commemorate the broadcast of "Kashintan," it was also announced that the best episodes from seasons 1-3, as chosen by fans, will be broadcast on TV Tokyo for three consecutive weeks starting July 4th.
"BLEACH" is a manga that depicts the adventures of Ichigo Kurosaki, who gains the powers of a Soul Reaper, as he and his companions battle evil spirits called Hollows and traverse different worlds. It was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 2001 to 2016 and became one of the magazine's flagship titles.
The TV anime aired from 2004 to 2012, and four animated films were released in theaters. In addition, a live-action film starring Sota Fukushi was released in 2018.
