The synopsis for episode 6 (airing May 17th) of the TBS Sunday drama "GIFT" (Sundays at 9 PM), starring actor Shinichi Tsutsumi, has been released.
Set against the backdrop of wheelchair rugby, a parasport, the story follows Wutetsu Fumito, a genius astrophysicist played by Tsutsumi, as he searches for answers to difficult problems facing his underdog team. Through genuine emotional and physical challenges, he learns the importance of friendship and family in this story of bonds and redemption. This is a completely original story, with the script written by Tomoki Kanazawa, who has worked on Netflix dramas such as "Sanctuary" and the TV series "Who saw the peacock dance in the jungle?".

Six months have passed since the Memorial Cup.
The Bulls are full of energy. Hitoka (Kasumi Arimura) supports the team as a mechanic's apprentice, and Sora (Yuta Tamamori) has also become a member of the staff. Meanwhile, Go Tetsu (Shinichi Tsutsumi) is unable to find the answer in a mathematical formula as to why the Bulls could not defeat Snake.
To Wu Tie, Hao suggests a training camp to help them get to know the players better. Wu Tie is enthusiastic, hoping to find some clues. As they gather at the Chinese restaurant "Shinraku" to discuss the camp, Hiroe (Tomoko Yamaguchi) arrives. Wu Tie, Hiroe, and Hao's families meet for the first time in 20 years...
Ryo (Yuki Yamada) considers a joint training camp with Sharkhead to strengthen the team and goes to meet Kunimi (Ken Yasuda).
