Singer and actor Kazuya Kamenashi (40) and freelance announcer and actress Minami Tanaka (39) announced their marriage on June 29th. It was also revealed that Tanaka is pregnant. Kamenashi made the announcement on his official website.
The two issued a joint statement saying, "We, Kazuya Kamenashi and Minami Tanaka, would like to announce that we have decided to get married. We would also like to announce that we are expecting a child."
"Although we are both still inexperienced, we will strive even harder, cherishing our way of being as performers, parents, and people," they commented, adding, "We will approach each and every activity with sincerity, and we sincerely ask for your continued guidance and encouragement. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us and to all those involved who have given us their understanding and cooperation."
The two were reported to be dating in January 2024 and co-starred in the TV Asahi drama series "Destiny," which aired from April of the same year.
