The synopsis and still images for the fourth episode of the drama series "Galaxy Vote" (Kansai TV/Fuji TV, Mondays at 10 PM), starring actress Haru Kuroki, have been released. The episode will air on May 11th.
Akari (played by Kayoko Noro) decides to run for governor of Tokyo. As an unknown newcomer with no political base, name recognition, or experience, she faces a mountain of challenges. Having to learn about politics from scratch, Akari begins to study intensely.
Meanwhile, Mari (played by Kuroki) comes up with a secret plan to boost Akari's chances in the election. Her plan is to bring Hayato Igarashi (played by Kenji Iwatani), whom Mari reveres as an "election genius," onto the team.
Igarashi is a former secretary to a politician, and his skills as an election strategist are top-notch. He was undefeated when it came to managing elections, but he disappeared from the political world after a certain incident.
Around the same time, within the Minseito party, amidst conflicting interests among its executives, the number of officially endorsed candidates was narrowed down to just one: Ryusei (played by Kohei Matsushita). However, despite being personally asked to run by the Tokyo branch chairman, Hitoshi Kuzumaki (played by Keisuke Horibe), Ryusei firmly refused, saying, "I have no intention of stepping down from national politics."
Then one day, Mari received a call from Kaede Amamiya (played by Toko Miura), a reporter for the Tozai Newspaper. She told her that Igarashi had been found.
The drama is an election entertainment series in which the protagonist, played by Kuroki, who has been ousted from the political world, recruits a bar owner with no political experience as his campaign strategist and takes on the Tokyo gubernatorial election.
