The synopsis and still images for episode 5 of the Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Saba-can, Uchuu e Iku" (Mondays at 9pm), starring actor Takumi Kitamura , have been released. The episode will air on May 11th.
Wakasa Fisheries High School, where Shunichi Asano (played by Kitamura) teaches, is facing the threat of closure. A briefing session on the reorganization plan has been scheduled, and his colleague, Masaki Kurose (played by Yoshiyoshi Arakawa), laments that "closure is inevitable." Asano submits materials on the space food development project he has been working on with his students, hoping to explore the possibility of continuing the project.
At the same time, Makoto Kijima ( Ryunosuke Kamiki), who is developing the "Draft Certification Standards for Japanese Space Food," was visiting Obama City in Fukui Prefecture. Kijima meets Itsuki Hayakawa (Tsubasa Nakagawa) at a tapioca shop run by Akimasa Tadokoro (Tsubasa Nakagawa), and is given space caramel made by Megumi Miyai (Ikoi Hayase) and Mio Kuwata (Yuzu Ashikawa).
