It has been announced that a special WOWOW program featuring live footage and documentary footage of the rock band TUBE, who are continuing their activities in their 40th anniversary year, will be broadcast and streamed in June.
TUBE will kick off their 40th anniversary year on June 1, 2025, their debut anniversary, with a concert in Waikiki, Hawaii, their first in 20 years. In August of the same year, they will hold their 36th concert at Yokohama Stadium, a "sacred ground" where their summer concerts have become a regular event, known as "Hamasta Live."
Since July of last year, they have been on a tour called "TUBE LIVE AROUND 2025-2026 Keep On Sailin'" with 40 performances nationwide, and the tour will conclude with a performance in Okinawa this May.
WOWOW's special program, titled "TUBE 40th Anniversary Live & Documentary ~A Voyage of 40 Years~," will closely follow their Yokohama Stadium concert and nationwide tour. It will consist of live footage, documentary footage, and interviews with the band members.
