TV Tokyo's popular information variety show, "Shutsugen! Admatic Tengoku" (Saturdays at 9 PM), will feature Oimachi (Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo) in its April 18th broadcast.
OIMACHI TRACKS, a large-scale complex directly connected to JR Oimachi Station, opened this March as a new landmark. Meanwhile, the retro Showa-era drinking district remains vibrant.
The program features: a night view of the Yamanote Line train depot; a sauna popular with business travelers; a standing bar that even Hollywood stars have dropped by!; cheap and delicious side dishes at a former butcher shop for a "senbero" (drinking for 1000 yen); and Victory Shioyaki, a yakiniku restaurant that holds special memories for Inocchi!
Furthermore, the show will feature popular meat ramen and white fried tofu dishes; a long-established Western-style restaurant in the alley making a grand comeback with its famous omelet rice; a 93-year-old active shoe fitter who is currently going viral; and a bar with an excessively large menu.
The guests were professional wrestler Togi Makabe and freelance announcer Yukari Oshima.
