Actress Momoko Fukuchi's NHK nighttime drama "Radio Star" (NHK General, Monday-Thursday 10:45 PM) will enter its third week starting April 13th.
"Radio Star" is a nonstop entertainment drama set in Noto, depicting how ordinary citizens become stars. The cast includes Masahiro Kohmoto, Kiyohiko Shibukawa, Shoma Kai, Kaito Oyagi, Shunsuke Kazama Kazama, Tsutomu Tamura, Takako Tokiwa Tokiwa, and Manami Ono from the idol group "Hinatazaka46". The theme song is "Fune Ippai no Sachi wo" (A Boat Full of Happiness), written and composed by Yumi Matsutoya and sung by MISIA.
In the third week, Tada (played by Ooyagi) takes an unexcused absence from the radio show due to a trivial matter.
Rikuto (Kai) is asked by Matsumoto (Kohmoto) to help with the radio show instead, but he stubbornly refuses. His strong refusal is related to what happened at the evacuation center. One day, the popular comedy duo "Kamameshiya" comes to Suzuno at Matsumoto's request. Kanade (Fukuchi) realizes that Rikuto used to be in a comedy trio with this duo... Scene cuts have also been released.
