It has been announced that Nakaya and Sakamoto of the comedy duo "Mayurika" will make a guest appearance in the first episode of the Sunday 10pm drama "Error" (ABC TV/TV Asahi network, Sundays at 10:15pm), which starts on April 12th.
The drama stars Mei Hata and Mirai Shida in a double lead role. It's a human suspense story about Yume Nakata (Hata), who caused the death of a certain woman, and Mio Osako (Shida), the only daughter of the deceased woman, who develop a friendship without knowing the truth, and eventually find themselves torn between guilt and friendship.
Nakaya will play the neighbor of Mio's apartment. She will appear in an important scene where Yume and Mio meet, setting the story in motion. Sakamoto will provide the voice for the podcast that appears in the drama.
Nakaya and Hata describe themselves as "friends." Nakaya said, "This is the first time I've seen (Hata) working. I've only ever seen her eating (laughs)," and asked about her own acting, "How was it? Was it okay?" Hata praised her, saying, "It was really good!"
However, she recalled that she had forgotten her lines during a camera test for a scene with Hata, and said, "I was really sorry, but it was a lot of fun and a memorable experience," expressing her joy at being a part of the show.
