It has been announced that "Zombie Land Saga 2027 in SAGA Arena (tentative title)," the largest-ever "Saga Prefecture homecoming event" for the anime "Zombie Land Saga," which has themes of zombies, Saga, idols, and comedy, will be held over two days on April 24th and 25th, 2027, at SAGA Arena (Saga City). This will be the first large-scale event for the series to be held in Saga Prefecture in approximately eight years, since "Zombie Land Saga LIVE ~Franchouchou Minna de Orabou!~ in SAGA" held at Karatsu Furusato Kaikan Alpino (Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture) in 2019. SAGA Arena is located in Saga City, one of the settings for the series, and it also became a topic of conversation when it appeared as a live venue in the final scene of the theatrical version.
The announcement was made on April 5th at the "Zombie Land Saga LIVE ~Franchouchou Yumeginga Festival~" event held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi Ward, Yokohama City).
The cast includes Kaede Hondo, Asami Tano as Saki Nikaido, Risa Taneda as Ai Mizuno, Maki Kawase as Junko Konno, Rika Kinugawa as Yugiri, and Minami Tanaka as Lily Hoshikawa.
"Zombie Land Saga" is an original anime series set in Saga Prefecture, depicting the story of girls who become zombies and aim to become top idols. The first season aired from October to December 2018, and the second season aired from April to June 2021. The theatrical film "Zombie Land Saga : Yumeginga Paradise" was released on October 24, 2025.
