On March 28th, NHK E-TV's children's program "Okaasan to Issho" (Monday-Saturday, 7:45 AM) aired an episode in which Akimoto Anzuki, known as "Azuki-oneesan," the first gymnastics instructor, graduated from the show. Ange, who will take on the role of the new "dance instructor," was introduced.
On that day, the program featured footage from a "Family Concert" held in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, showing the energetic singing and dancing of the older brothers and sisters on stage. At the end of the program, Akimoto gave a greeting, and Ange made her first appearance in the studio at Akimoto's invitation.
Ange greeted her "friends" by saying, "Nice to meet you! I'm Ange, your dance sister. Please call me 'Big Sister An'!" She continued, "I really love dancing! I'm looking forward to doing exercises with everyone!" Ange then joined in to perform "Karada☆Dandan" and "Kinrakira Pon" to send Akimoto off.
Comments on social media include: "Her smile is dazzling!", "Nice to meet you, Ann!", "She's lovely with her cheerful smile right from the start," "Ann is cute too! I'm looking forward to next week," and "She has such expressive features, she gives off the vibe of a major new talent."
Ange's father is British and her mother is Japanese; she grew up in Okinawa Prefecture. She started classical ballet at the age of two and studied a wide range of dance genres, including contemporary dance, jazz dance, and hip hop, throughout middle school, high school, and university.
