It has been announced that the female voice actress unit "DIALOGUE+" will be performing the opening theme song "Natsu ni Kasanete" for the TV anime "The Pure and Lovely Girl Who Transferred to My School Was My Childhood Friend Whom I Thought Was a Boy When We Played Together" (Tenbin), which is based on a light novel from Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko (KADOKAWA). The first main PV featuring the song has also been released.
Tomoya Tabuchi, the general producer of "DIALOGUE+", commented, "'Natsu ni Kasanete' began with a request from the anime team for 'a song that evokes summer scenery and sunflowers.' We used sound and melody to depict the clear blue sky and sun, and the flower fields blooming beneath it, and we tried to infuse it with as much sense of speed as possible to enhance the dramatic coming-of-age story of this work. We at DIALOGUE+ are also looking forward to seeing the distance, time, and feelings that Hayato and Haruki experience from when they are separated until they come close again, and we are pleased to present this song to them."
The series is a light novel written by Hibari-yu and illustrated by Shiso, a romantic comedy about Kirishima Hayato, who transfers to a high school in the city, and his childhood friend Nikaido Haruki, who was formerly his "male friend" but is now a "beautiful girl." Kirishima Hayato reunites with his male friend, with whom he made an important promise when he was a child, after seven years, only to find that his friend has become a refined and beautiful girl. It will begin airing in July on TOKYO MX, BS Fuji, and other channels.
