Violinist Taro Hakase will hold "Taro Hakase Orchestra Concert 2026 ~The Symphonic Sessions~" at Tokyo International Forum Hall A (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on May 10th. It was announced on March 26th that this performance will be broadcast live exclusively on WOWOW.
On March 4th, Hakase released his 30th-anniversary solo album, "The Symphonic Sessions III." The album is a compilation primarily of orchestral arrangements, and includes a newly recorded, fully orchestral version of "Etupirka," a song famous as the ending theme for the TV program "Jounetsu Tairiku," titled "Symphonic Etupirka." Simultaneously with the album's release, Hakase embarked on his fourth nationwide tour, which began on March 14th.
WOWOW will broadcast and stream live the Tokyo performance of the tour on May 10th from 2 PM on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand.
In June, they also broadcast and streamed footage from the final performance of the national tour, held on December 28, 2012, at the Orix Theater (Nishi-ku, Osaka), under the title "Taro Hakase Concert Tour 2012 WITH ONE WISH The Special Night with →Pia-no-jaC←".
In July, they will broadcast and stream footage from the concert held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on December 29, 2020, titled "Taro Hakase Concert Tour 2020 'FRONTIERS'".
