This will be Sometani's first appearance in a Asadora in seven years, since "Natsuzora" in the first half of 2019. This is a new song written by Spitz specifically for this drama, and it marks Spitz's first time providing a theme song for a TBS drama in 25 years, since "Haruka" for the Sunday drama "Love Story" in April 2001. The theme song, which vocalist and guitarist Masamune Kusano said he created "hopefully adds another layer of color to the drama," will be premiered during the first episode.

Aoki, who plays Shirai Riyuki, a librarian in charge of compensation, revealed, "It's a series of firsts for me.
