It has been revealed that the Japanese voice cast, including Yuya Uchida as Daredevil, will be reprising their roles in Marvel's latest drama series, "Daredevil: Born Again," which will be exclusively streamed on Disney+ starting March 25th.
Based on the popular Marvel comic book, this film depicts the exploits of Matt Murdock, also known as "Daredevil," a blind man with two faces: a lawyer who protects the weak by law during the day and a hero who beats down evil that cannot be punished by law at night. Daredevil's senses other than sight are highly developed, giving him extraordinary hearing and smell, but his body is the same as an ordinary person's. The story follows Daredevil as he brutally and mercilessly beats down villains night after night, with Charlie Cox playing Daredevil.
Season 2 will feature familiar characters such as Daredevil's arch-nemesis, Wilson Fisk, also known as "Kingpin," a ruthless crime lord who rose to become the mayor of New York City, and Matt's friend, Karen Page, as well as the new popular character Jessica Jones.
In the Japanese version, in addition to Uchida-san as Daredevil, Tessho Genda san as Kingpin and Kinoshita Saka-san as Karen will continue to reprise their roles. Furthermore, it has been revealed that Watanabe Akino will be taking on the role of Jessica.
