Akari Takaishi Kate Fox, who plays Eliza Bellsland, Heaven's ( Tommy Bastow ) former colleague in the NHK Asadora drama series "Bakebake " (NHK General, Monday-Saturday 8:00 AM, etc.), starring Akari Takaishi, spoke about her impressions of Takaishi, who plays the main character Toki, and memorable events from filming.
Eliza, played by Fox, is a successful female journalist in the United States and a former colleague of Heaven's. She is a "perfect woman" who is intelligent and has the drive to travel the world. She is the character who suggested that Heaven go to Japan.
Fox commented on her experience working with Takaishi, saying, "I think Akari is one of the brightest, most joyful, and most hardworking women I've ever met."
"I was not only impressed by her approach to her work, but I was also deeply moved by the joy she seemed to have for acting. Having both of these qualities is extremely important. You can tell that she truly loves her job. I think that's a sign of someone who will build a long and wonderful career."
Fox revealed that he brought his two-year-old daughter with him when filming " Bakebake." He expressed his gratitude, saying, "During filming, my daughter was still jet-lagged and fussy, but everyone was so kind, giving her toys and playing with her."
Regarding memorable events and scenes during filming, she recalls, "I felt that the inner light of Ms. Ikewaki (Chizuru), who played Fumi, was a brilliant radiance of her past experiences. Her consideration for the staff and cast was beautiful and wonderful, and it made perfect sense that she had experience as a heroine in a Asadora!"
He continued, "Sugita (Rairin), who played the role of Jo, is also a wonderful actor. His depth, vulnerability, and acting ability were very impressive. I hope to be able to work with him again."
"Bakebake" will air its final episode on March 27th. Fox commented to viewers, "Thank you so much for watching! I know how hard the staff and cast have worked to bring this show to you, so I am very happy to be able to share this show with you all."
"I'm sure the staff and cast are exhausted, so if you happen to see them out and about, please be kind to them. Saying some sweet words to cheer them up might be a good idea (smile)," she said in her message.
