On March 11th, TV Asahi held a briefing at its headquarters (Minato-ku, Tokyo) regarding its April 2026 programming changes. It was announced that the late-night Monday slot "Dream Entertainment" (Monday midnight 12:15am-1:15am *Kanto local) will be revamped to "START UP! Dream Entertainment" from April 6th. The program will be linked to Tokyo Dream Park, which will open in Ariake, Tokyo on March 27th.
The "Dream Entertainment" slot, which was launched last September, has long aired the beloved late-night variety shows "Hamasuka Broadcasting Club," "Ano Channel," and "Kyokorohee" on a weekly rotation, but it was announced that "Hamasuka Broadcasting Club" will end in March.
"Ano Channel" and "Kyokorohee" will continue to be broadcast in the same time slot, and five "red" members of five "KAWAII LAB." groups, including Tsukiashi Amane from the idol group "FRUITS ZIPPER" and Tachibana Kotosue from "CANDY TUNE," will introduce the latest information about Tokyo Dream Park.
Tsukiashi, Tachibana, Mayumi Shiraishi from "SWEET STEADY," Aika Sano from "CUTIE STREET," and Rushia Yamamoto from "MORE STAR" will team up in turns to act as MCs for each broadcast, and will have fun with the "hot things in our neighborhood" brought to them by the guests. The show will begin airing on April 6th, with the first episode being a one-hour special.
