It has been announced that the second part of Tatsuki Fujimoto's popular manga "Chainsaw Man" will reach its final chapter, chapter 232, which will be released on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+" on March 25th. The announcement was made after chapter 231 was released on March 11th.
"Chainsaw Man" is a dark hero action story about a boy named Denji who is possessed by a demon and works as a devil hunter. Part 1 was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from December 2018 to December 2020. Part 2 began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in July 2022. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 35 million.
The TV anime series aired from October to December 2022. The theatrical anime "Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc" was released in September 2025 and was a huge hit, grossing 10.7 billion yen and attracting over 7.04 million viewers. There is also talk of a sequel to "Reze Arc," "Chainsaw Man: Assassin Arc."
