It has been announced that the TV anime series "Even a Replica Can Fall in Love," based on the light novel written by Haruna Donburi and illustrated by raemz, which was also the winner of the Grand Prize at the 29th Dengeki Novel Awards, will begin airing on TOKYO MX and other stations from April 7th. The second main visual featuring the main character, replica girl Nao, and the original Aikawa Sunao who summons her in her place, as well as the second main promotional video featuring the opening theme "Refrain" by the band "Shytorp" and the ending theme "Awa" by asmi, have also been released.
It was also announced that Takada Yuki will play Yuki Takada, Nazuka Kaori will play Mori Jun Fukuyama, Fukuyama Jun will play Mochizuki Jun, Hidaka Rina will play Sato Kozue, and Nakamura Shugo will play Shugo Nakamura.
The story is about Nao, a replica who lives inconspicuously as a substitute for Aikawa Sunao, but falls in love. The anime will be directed by Kimura Ryuichi, known for "Aikatsu!", and produced by Voil. Morohoshi Sumire will star as the main character, Nao/Aikawa Sunao.
