Mari Okamoto, a comedian who rose to fame with her Hirosue Ryoko impersonation, appeared on the eighth episode of Abema's variety show "Love's Hyena Season 5," which aired on February 24th.
Regarding her first gravure shoot in 11 years, Okamoto reflected, "This year marks the 20th anniversary of my debut, and I love my body at 35, so I wanted to record it and use it as a reference book for myself when I turn 40."
She continued, "My son is 10 years old and will be starting fifth grade in the spring, and when I'm at work he says things like, 'Don't write about this story,' or 'You can write about this.'" She revealed how much he's grown.
She also revealed that her son encouraged her, saying, "When I asked him, 'Can I do gravure work again?' he said, 'Just don't show it to me.'"
