Among the first-time entries, the new animated film "Gintama: The New Theatrical Edition - Yoshiwara Daienjo-" (directed by Ando Naoya), based on Hideaki Sorachi's popular manga "Gintama," ranked second. In the three days since its release on February 13, it attracted approximately 262,700 viewers and grossed approximately 406 million yen, narrowly beating the first-place film "Sokusoku, Onaware Desu." "Zootopia 2" (directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard) maintained its third place position from the previous week, attracting approximately 131,400 viewers and earning approximately 192 million yen over the three-day weekend. Cumulative totals reached 10.91 million viewers and over 14.8 billion yen. In fourth place was the second chapter of the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Murase Shukou), "Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway's Flash: Circe's Witch," which attracted approximately 105,800 viewers and earned approximately 183 million yen over the three-day weekend. Cumulative totals reached 1.13 million viewers and over 1.8 billion yen.
Now in its 37th week of release, "National Treasure" (directed by Lee Sang-il) came in 9th place, attracting 14.15 million viewers and finally surpassing 20 billion yen in box office revenue.
