Popular group SixTONES appeared at a press conference for Nippon Television's charity program "24-Hour Television 49 - Love Saves the Earth -" held in Tokyo on June 22nd.
Gosho Aoyama , known for the popular manga " Detective Conan, " will be designing the charity T-shirts for the second year in a row. Taiga Kyomoto, a huge Conan fan himself, began speaking rapidly, saying, "It's a work I've loved since childhood, a national anime. The fact that it's happening for two years in a row really makes me feel the strength of this work's influence."
"The theme this time is family, and although I own many Conan T-shirts, it's rare to see the Mouri couple on a T-shirt. As a fan, it's a very precious item, and I'm so happy to have gotten my hands on it. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Aoyama-sensei, and I hope many people will wear it," he said, clearly very excited.
This year marks the 49th broadcast of "24-Hour Television," and its theme is "My Family Story ~Who do you think of?~". Shinichi Hatori and announcer Asami Miura will serve as the main hosts, joined by Teruyoshi Uchimura. Popular group SixTONES, Ikusaburo Kyoko Yoshine will be charity partners, Chanmina will be a special supporter, and Hoshino will be the charity runner. The broadcast will be from 6:30 p.m. on August 29th to 8:54 p.m. on August 30th.
